Canady Family Medical Fund Golf Benefit

We need your help! 

In just a few weeks, we will be hosting a special golf event to help make a difference in the life of a child in Charlotte.  Our hope is that you will help by sponsoring this significant event. 

We are sponsoring this event because we want to help little Aubrey Canady, a vivacious five-year-old little girl who is fighting a huge battle. 

Aubrey Canady has recently been diagnosed with more than one condition affecting her brain.  One of these conditions has resulted in multiple seizures. 

The sum of her medical situation is this:  There is a possibility of four different surgeries.  One surgery will be for Chiari Malformation, a surgery that will need to be done sooner rather than later. Also, her neck is set at a 90-degree angle, which will need to be corrected.  An additional surgery for another condition, arachnoid cysts, will need to be performed if these cysts grow in any way or start putting more pressure on her brain.  And finally, Epilepsy surgery will need to be scheduled if she is a candidate.  All this will take years of treatment. 

Currently the family is trying to figure out if Aubrey will be able to start kindergarten next year. If the seizures don't stop, she will need to be home-schooled. If they do stop, she will need to attend a private school, as all public schools in her county have cut their medical manpower and classroom assistants.  

Together we can make a difference in helping the Canady family with their steadily mounting medical bills and and ensuring Aubrey will be able to attend a school that can meet her needs.
